Camden

I took Becky, Chris & Camden's pictures the other day so I wanted to put some up that I liked. I also did a photo shoot with Camden a few weeks ago so I'll put a few up from that, too.

This one was Camden on Becky's lap, him on his belly. He was being burped, and he finally stopped crying and looked so cute!! I just started shooting him and got some cute ones (:

He's happy again!! Some times MOST of the time pictures turn out better when they're not planned for. These were obviously planned for [[the hat, the outfits, etc]], but the moments and smiles that turn out best aren't forced!!

He's a happy baby!!

Self Photography

I was just having fun with my camera. There are times when I want to take pictures of someone SO BADLY but its like 2am or no one is around to play with so I have to use the tripod and timer. It's not the same feeling as taking the pictures yourself, it's not focused properly [[oh I'll add that to my Christmas list haha! Self timer off eBay for $9]], but it's still fun and I have fun editing pictures. Like I've said before, I edit pictures of myself WAY more and WAY differently than I do of regular portrait pictures, because I'm not trying to take a picture of myself for any reason. Don't worry if you don't get what I'm saying haha (:

Picture #1 was just for fun. Picture #2 was way blurry straight out of the camera but I edited it to this, even though my hand was moving and I am not in focus I thought it still looked cool! Picture #3 was also just for fun and I like making pictures black and white, or just taking out some of the saturation like in #2. I think it's because a lot of pictures of me or our family are always so red/copper because we're red heads!! So I always dim it a little haha.

Christmas Time

It's almost Christmas. I've been so ...distracted this season with other things that I have hardly realized that it's Christmas in 15 days! I am just so grateful for where I'm at right now, it is exactly 180º different from where I was last Christmas, last spring, last summer..all in a good way. Parts of it hurts, but I KNOW that it was all for a reason.

Should I Stay or Should I Go

...Du-Nu-Nu

So I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing for Christmas. Obviously it depends on whether or not I have a job by then. HOPEFULLY I will because I do need one! If I stay, this will be my first Christmas EVER not going back home with los padres the parents and the rest of the family! But we'll see (:

I know it's only been like...ONE WEEK since I've been here but I just have to say that I hate not knowing a lot of people. blah. I KNOW I'll make friends and stuff but sometimes it makes me miss Reno where I knew everyone and everyone knew me, whether we liked each other or not! Haha. I have some friends here, but none of them are in my ward or anything, but oh well. I'll deal with it.

Off to job hunt some more. woot.
